When the darkness seems most stifling, one can always look for the one beacon among it: and need only call to gain its aid.

Stern, sometimes humorless, those unfamiliar with this Guardian tread carefully around her--at least, at first. Walking with her head held high, she is a picture of the sunlight in the canopy--proud, yet surprisingly gentle.

'Legend' has it that she descended from a near-mythical group of specially-trained Paladins, but she has so far denied such claims with stories that vary depending on who is asking. To this day, no one (including her Charges) seems to know just who Linaeve truly is. 'Not that it matters,' many say--for their Linaeve is the pinnacle of a devout dragon of Light, bringing peace to the Clan in the Mists with very little effort.

Under her thoughtful suggestion, the clan Commanders were formed as a safeguard against any evildoer--and as a pillar of hope for any allied clan in dire need of aid. Careful to respect the wishes of Lockwood, Linaeve has promised to keep militarization at a minimum, mobilizing only at the most crucial times. The 'unofficial' (only as she describes herself) leader of the Commanders, this Guardian is highly respected--and despite what she believes--very loved by each and every one of her clan members.

Peering through the morning fog, the sun beams on her scales, leading the pure of heart easily through the place she has finally come to call her true home.
