═══════════════════ . "They might make you feel you are useless or incomplete. Don't let that affect you. Let your future prove that they were wrong. Show them that you're more than what they chose to see." .
From her birth to her life in the present, Zeliara has never lived easily. Born into the world with a price on her head and a prophecy to fulfill, the Guardian knew no better than to run away from her problems. Though, that didn't always help, her hunters seemed to know her every move. Their constant presence has made Zeliara paranoid and distrustful towards other dragons, even to the point where she rather die from near fatal wounds than to get help from another or eat whenever a friendly dragon offered her food. She wouldn't hunt for herself either, just traveling through the lands to get away from her pursuers. The malnourished and injured Guardian finally collapsed when she arrived in the Starwood Strand, accepting the fact that she might die underneath the glow of the trees. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. When consciousness decided to come back to her, the Guardian immediately tensed when she felt foreign claws clean her wounds. The stranger wasn't fazed when she started to growl and hiss at him, just continuing his work until all her injuries were bandaged. He then gave her a stern hiss to shut her up and persuaded forced her to eat soup made from pureed herbs. Once the warm soup filled her belly, she had enough energy to get back up on her feet. The Imperial introduced himself as Valnaarin and invited her to stay with him and his clan, at least when until she was healed. Though she hesitated, the Imperial gave her no choice but to follow him. So she did, very skeptical about the other but too tired to fight. She noticed that her pursuers were quiet, almost as it seemed someone took care of them before they could get to her. She gave the Imp an expectant and hopeful look yet he did nothing to confirm her suspicions. The two walked deeper in the woods in silence until arriving at a massive boulder, Valnaarin walking straight into the rock and disappeared into it by magic. Zeliara was shocked and didn't move from her spot until the Imp peeked out and beckoned for her to join him, only then did she move. As soon as she entered, it almost as if the rock sealed itself so no other beings could enter in without permission, Zeliara feeling a bit more safe kmowing her pursuers would not be able to find her.
The Guardian soon found out that the boulder was not some magically sealed cave but an underground society. The other dragons were too busy to notice her and her companion arrive, well except one. A pale Spiral who introduced herself as Pearleene noticed them immediately and began to fret over her, rushing the Guardian into a space that looked like a clinic. Pearleene encouraged Zeliara to stay in the Underground, rest, eat and if she'd like, live as long as she needed. The Guardian trusted the Spiral, staying as long as she needed to get her strength up. Valnaarin from time to time would check on her, happy that she was recovering very quickly. Once all her wounds were healed and her body fatten to the size it needed to be, Zeliara was preparing to leave, much to Pearleene's dismay. Word that the Guardian was preparing to depart got around the Underground and to the head Prophetess, Estrellyna, the Skydancer outraged that Zeliara was so bold to just leave after everything the Underground did for her. Despite her size, the Prophetess boldly (and loudly) told Zeliara about the prophecy concerning her, the job she had to fulfill and the price for her head. The Skydancer also reminded the Guardian that many put their life on hold just to make her comfortable and that if she thought that leaving will be that easy, then she had lost her mind. Zeliara took her word to heart and apologized profusedly, to the Prophetess, to Pearleene and to the other inhabitants of the Underground, solemnly admitting that she was use to just running away and planned on doing that. Estrellyna forgave her and offered her training so she could fulfill her duty, Zeliara readily accepting. She was assigned to Astraea, a stern yet motherly ex-prophetess turned mage and Relisia, a goofy yet peculiar soothsayer to help her magic wise. and the deadpanned warrior named Ahdalynd to help her with physical combat just in case she'll need it. Estrellyna then took her to her mother, Celestia, to get rid of the bind that was places to keep her magic from freely flowing. Zeliara worked hard to please her teachers, letting herself lose her guard and be more trusting. She became closer to both Valnaarin and Pearleene and always thanked them for not letting her be stubborn and run away again. However, happiness slipped away from Zeliara once more when the Undergound went into a frenzy after finding out that one of her hunters managed to get in, the society gathering around once the protectors of the clan had caught him and forced him to face Estrellyna. The Prophetess was about to declare his sentence when the captured Skydancer, a rogue named Raixain, pleaded for mercy and explained that the only reason why he broke in was to protect Zeliara from his brother and father that wanted to use her to destroy the realm. The clan looked all looked at the Guardian when the Prophetess addressed her saying that it was her call whether the rogue's life was spared or not. Zeliara, filled with sympathy despite being afraid, spared his life but requested him to be locked up until he was trustworthy in her eyes. That didn't take long, the rogue risking his life to fight off his brother and his cohorts when they attacked Zeliara and Pearleene when the Guardian got antsy of being underground for so long and wanted some fresh air (with Estrellyna). After that event, Raixain was appointed as her protector whenever she wanted to leave the Underground to see the sunset or to stargaze. Raixain was never a shy dragon, compliments, affirmations and encouragements flowed freely from his maw and never ceased to make Zeliara blush. The Guardian was falling for him slowly, though her shyness prevented her from actually telling him how she feels.
