Maglorix the doctor
Born into a plague clan of mercenaries, Maglorix is the fifth of a line of crystalline spirals from his father side, but, like many of his siblings, he was deemed a "disaster"; on top of that he was also deemed to be the creepy one.
Without a world, he was kicked out of the lair, unable to care for himself and alone; he hissed back at his father and slithered away.
He was still looking around thinking what to do, when he hit his head against a massive ridgeback's paw.
The stranger, looked down on him with a confused expression as he kept hissing, and picked him up. Maglorix immediately bit him on a finger, getting a huge laugh out of the massive ridgeback, who decided to bring the kid with him.
Maglorix adapted to his new clan pretty fast, he grew up scaring the living hell out of any dragon - hatchling or not - he could sneak up to.
As a teen he got interested in herbs and their medical use, he started collecting them and looking up medical books; everyone was baffled to see him taking up such a hobby.
When he grew into an adult he already knew most of the medical resources of the Tangled Wood and a good part of the ones of the other domains, he became the doctor of the clan despite his scary look and his sadistic manners.
However Maglorix hasn't really changed and still loves scaring outsiders by telling them he's an emissary of death, or jump-scaring others by popping up in front of them; even if it's just to tell them something, he likes when his interlocutor almost gets a heart attack because of him.
This bad habit almost killed him a fair amount of times, however, when he tried joking with some of the dragons passing by the clan, who took him almost too seriously, while he was healing them.
Hadn't his wife been there he would have been dead.
Maglorix met his "sweet" wife one day while he was searching for new herbs at the border where the realms of earth and nature collide, the ridgeback was resting after a long flight when they spotted each other.
It was love at first sight, the creepy doctor ran up to her in a splitsecond, immediately picking up a conversation; when at his question on where she lived Rockheart answered that she was searching for a new home, the spiral invited her to go live with him in the clan without hesitation.
They've been a creepy happy couple since day one; Maglorix didn't even beat an eye when she came back from a digging session turned into a cursed tree, she was even prettier in his eyes.
Later in his life he developed a glowing skin condition, it started as a small patch of skin tore open and expanded on his whole belly, but stopped after about a month; it doesn't hurt but itches a lot sometimes.
He tested various herb lotions and potions to heal the skin and managed to stop the itch a least a bit.
After the weird burst of elemental energy that sprouted all around sornieth he found himself covered in extra eyes; most of them can see perfectly, but the smaller they get the worse and cloudier their sight gets, the smaller ones on the tail are basically blind.
He can close them individually and move them in different directions, but it took him a while to get used to it. At first he always kept most of them closed, but when he got used to it he started using them at his own advantage, the only ones almost always closed are the blind ones.
