Biography

| Elab |

Survivor
Gatherer
Hunter
Warrior
Shattered Plain

The eldest of his nest and his parent's first-born, this dragon is confident yet kind. As his mother cares for the clan's hatchlings in the nesting ground, he has always had a close connection to her. He has always admired her patience and ability to lead all shape and size of hatchlings in group activities.

A natural-born leader, he is very sociable and enjoys taking the brunt of responsibility when working in a group. He hopes to one day hold a leadership position somewhere that he can improve the lives of others around him.

Quote:
Lore: Hunger
Bale's PoV

My talons clicked loudly on the cold stone below me as I paced the cavern.
I was restlessly awaiting the arrival of my brother. He was in danger, my mind fretted. Dragons were going missing everywhere, and what was to say Elab would return safely? The dragon’s willpower wouldn’t save him from a cadaver, or Beastclan warrior. He was always insisting to get into trouble.

“Missed me?” a snicker blurted from behind me.

I jumped in surprise, scattering a few weeks of scrolls. I spun around, tail lashing.
My brother, Elab, stood at the entrance of the cave, holding a scummy ginger rabbit in his claws.
His red drapes and feathers caught the sunlight, making with look brave and decisive. Unlike myself, Elab was brave and enduring. I was not cowardly, but I preferred safety and certainty. And I was easy to spook, but that was instincts.

“You frightened me,” I mutter, picking up scrolls and rolling them back up.
I loved to read tales from the past. Not boring tales of herbal remedies and whatnot, but battle tales and fantasy.

“Sorry, not sorry. I brought food!” Elab proclaimed the already obvious. His dark blue wings tucked to his sides, and he lay down next to me to share the small meal.

Emphasis on small. The rabbit was enough for one hatchling, tops. Not two adolescents, large and moving about.
I could feel my stomach churn, reminding me that my days were numbered. I wondered how long we could keep going like this, one rabbit at a time.
I cherished the food, releasing my guts hunger a little.

“Thank you,” I say, glancing at Elab halfheartedly. “I’ll go hunt now. You should rest.”
I stand up, stretching my limbs. The dread of my hungry stomach weighs heavily on my chest. My sort of constant panic set itself deeper into my mind.

Elab opens his mouth, like he was about to say something, but stops. I turn back towards the exit of the cave, letting the light touch my face.

“We’ll make it.” I say out loud, into the air. “I promise.”
