abrelictus' name literally means "abandoned, deserted" in latin (she is originally from an exalt rescue, but in terms of lore, she was abandoned for...reasons). xarles and wynnie took her under their wing (literally and figuratively) when she was found. pretty much took her in and taught her how to fight and she just sort of went into the "family business." wynnie and xarles are technically her mentors but have been the only parents she's ever known. the three of them are still very close and regarded as a family unit by everyone else in fex
