Biography
Clan Healer
When Eireen left her original clan, it was to explore the world at large. Her wandering spirit led her from the icy hills of her home to the watery depths of the tsunami flats. Finding Karli alone in a cave, huddled near an empty alter, Eireen sat near the guardian, watching her. When Karli finally noticed Eireen's presence, she accepted it without saying anything. They spent the night together, building a fire and eating the small amount of food left in the cave. The next morning, Karli led Eileen back to her den, offering her refuge and a home if she wanted.
The only thing Eireen had brought with her was a tattered brown satchel. Inside she kept the herbs she had brought with her from her old life. They wouldn't last her long, but there was enough that she could find what she needed to replace them. They weren't very common but they could be found if you knew where to look. Karli realized immediately that this would make Eireen an asset to her clan and hoped that she would stay.
At first, Eireen figured she would stay for a while and then head back out into the world. Karli's clan was small, being so new, and there really wasn't a lot it had to offer. Until an injured imperial wandered into the camp one evening, that is. His left wing was lagging behind him, dragging on the floor. Eireen had prior training as a medic and healer, having worked as an apprentice for her previous clan's healer before leaving. She sent the younglings off to gather herbs and supplies she would need while piling seaweed around the imperial to keep him warm.
Using the supplies she was given, Eireen spent three days and nights with the imperial, by his side the whole time. She applied a splint to his wing, rebandaging it every morning. She fed him warm soup and wet his lips periodically. When he finally regained most of his strength, he wouldn't leave her side. At night when she went to sleep, he curled up next to her, wrapping his uninjured wing around her. She realized that while she had spent so much time searching the whole world, what she had been looking for was right there with that handsome imperial, King.
