Basselt hails from the Earth flight, and has taken the "wasteland" part of the Scarred Wasteland quite to heart and dresses accordingly. She's particularly careful to keep her nose and mouth covered, at the expense of having her eyes covered as well. She is always fearful of the Plaguebringer turning her pestilence against her subjects, but such claims make the rest of her clan quite uncomfortable. All the comforts and safety they have is due to the protection that the Plaguebringer's great infections bring to her people, they assure Basselt, but she's not sure how they decided that as they watch other clans all around them fall victim to the same decay that smites their enemies.
