Pagin oversees the cataloguing of the relics gathered by the Ill Luck Clan. She acts as both a priest and a head librarian. She came to Ill Luck clan with her sister, Moira, both outcast from their clan in the Wispwillow Grove when their pearls were lost - though they will not say how their pearls were lost.

Pagin found herself drawn to the role of priest and quickly established herself as invaluable. Her primary job is to catalogue the fragments of the Pillar of the World - where they were gathered, who gathered them, nearby fragments, and the specifics of the piece itself, such as any carvings or marks. However, the traveling priests bring much more than just fragments of the magical pillar and Pagin has created something of a museum curated from items brought to her from all over Sornieth.

Moira came to Ill Luck with her sister, Pagin, after both of their pearls were lost under questionable circumstances and they were banished from their tribe.

While Pagin found herself fitting in easily with the Ill Luck clan and quickly raising to power, Moira struggled. Eventually she found her place among the traders of Ill Luck, selling wares she finds to passing clans. Many of these wares may well be from the back rooms in her sisters library.

Moira also dabbles in fortune telling, specifically the reading of bones. She finds this to be a good way to make some extra gold, but word is getting out - she's unusually accurate.
