Contrary to popular belief, Arcana has no magical abilities. No. None. Nil. Zero.
The other dragons of the lair, having originally feared her in the belief that she is a great magus, were confounded by her superficiality and tendency to pronounce abracadabra as abacaba.
And yet, when you see Arcana looking fondly at her (mage's) hat with a pensive expression, murmuring, as if uttering the deepest secret of the universe, "What an arcane hat!" - you are bound to believe that she contains some special power, some knowledge revealed only to the initiates of the Arcanist's order.
"I have some arcane tools." "My earrings are quite arcane." "These bowties are very arcane." And so it goes.
It is only when she picks up a rose and begins to muse on its arcane-ness, does a young dragon approach her and venture, "O Great Magus, wherefore dost thou pronounce these petals of mystical nature? Prithee reveal thy knowledge, O Sage and Learned Teacher, what powers and mysteries are contained within these frail petals?"
Arcana looks at him like he is an idiot, and answers.
"Don't you have eyes? Can't you see that it is clearly arcane?"
Having been so rebuked, the impudent young dragon bows hurriedly and retreats back to his place.
Little does he - or any other dragon, for that matter - know that Arcana had merely thought that "arcane" means "pink", and that she and everything of hers is, indeed, very pink.

只有当她拿起一朵玫瑰开始感叹这朵玫瑰多么奥术的时候，才有一条年轻的龙胆敢接近她，问道：“伟大的魔法师啊！您为何宣称这些花瓣具有神秘之力？请您揭示您的知识吧，贤者、智慧的导师啊，这些娇柔的花瓣中蕴含了什么魔力、什么秘密？”
Arcana像看一个蠢货一样看了看他，答道：
“你没长眼睛吗？你看不出它多么显而易见地奥术？”
年轻的龙受到了这样的斥责，急忙鞠了一躬，退了回去。
他——以及其他的龙们——自然不知道，Arcana只是认为“奥术”的意思是“粉红”，而她和她拥有的一切，诚然，都是十分粉红的。
