Aratron The Esteemed Guardian "From the Earth I arise, into the Earth I will rest."  Information A peculiar dragon said to be born from the obsidian that lies deep beneath the surface of the Shattered Plain. His body is beautifully crystallized, penetrating it would be a tall task for anyone. He takes much pride in his natural defenses, often serving to taunt enemies and distract them while his brethren get to work. His strengths are not in how much damage he can deal, they lie in his ability to act as a shield for his allies. Due to his nature, he gears himself up in heavy armor, and favors large, bulky weapons. He carries himself with patience in battle, often standing still in the midst of conflict as he endures an onslaught, waiting for the perfect chance to strike back several times harder. Outside of war, Aratron serves as an educator, or tutor, within Kikokumo. He teaches not only how to fight, but also how to take care of yourself and others after the fact. He may not be capable of a significant amount of healing magic, but his knowledge in the field is strangely expansive. He has great skill in forging potions that serve as fast acting medicines in cases of emergency, as well as potions that serve to strengthen dragon hide. Many are always eager to learn more from Aratron, even those of higher authority. He always seems to know how to turn junk into something useful, being responsible for numerous amounts of brewing recipes now used widely throughout the settlement. Aratron is a rather passionate dragon as well. While it is not practical for him to be in any sort of authoritative or leadership position,he often comes off strong when voicing his own opinions, and soliciting advice. While patient with most things, he tends to try to convey all of current thoughts into a matter as quickly as possible, usually leading to confusion or stress from listeners. He has even talked himself out of breath on many occasions. There are moments where Aratron unintentionally interrupts others, though he has no issues putting on the brakes, so to speak, if one is overwhelmed. He is a well intentioned dragon overall, though unfortunately first impressions are more often than not, a bust, leaving him to have few close friends. Most of his interactions with others are in a professional setting and in the midst battle. |
