Uh-oh, looks like this lonely brewer wandered a little too far from his home lair (#68024, DTEvie), and now he's off to see the world! HISTORY An easygoing brewer who learned the trade from his family and set up shop in a nearby clan. He's known for the precision and potency of his brews, both alchemical and alcoholic. His mate, Mariposa, was a frequent customer in his shop, until their casual flirting developed into a relationship, then into a partnership as they decided to take both their careers onto the road. Mariposa was a singer, blessed by the Arcanist with an enchanting voice. Soon after they began travelling together, she confessed to him that her talent came with a price: some day she would be called to serve the Arcanist, and she wouldn't be able to refuse. Despite his fear of losing her, he resolved to enjoy the time they had together all the more. When that day came, they said their teary goodbyes, and he continued his travels alone. Though slightly melancholy, he's content in the fact that they might see each other again in the Arcanist's entourage. Clan of Burning Fantasies He had a clutch of eggs with Eleanor the local Witch they had a nice conversation or two about potions and magic they got along great before he moved on to his next home. Almost's Lair His next stop is a small lair deep in the Arcane lands. There he meets Edge a powerful coatl mage, who offers to teach him some of the more obscure potions he knows. In the following months, their relationship blossoms into something more and Papillon is offered a permanent place in the clan as Edges apprentice and companion. However he is not ready to settle and decides to leave with a heavy heart and the promise to one day return. Edge gifts him with a single white rose to remember him by. |
