" A good good quote goes here. The finest quote. " |
Greer was the first to join the Misfit Miskatonic… and less so out of choice, but necessity. Born into the Light flight and intensely loyal to the Lightweaver, Greer took quickly to the art of healing and divination under the watchful eye and wisdom of his father. He had a bright future in the ranks of the Light flight, pun intended. So much so that if he worked hard enough, he could’ve very possibly worked with his father under the wings of the Lightweaver...until everything changed. On a good natured trip to the Shifting Expanse to meet with a dragon there that had taken the favor of the Lightweaver and requested assistance, Greer was met with one Terren, a fellow visitor to the Shifting Expanse from the Ashfall Waste to meet with some engineers about metal trade and crafting. Terren, hot tempered but with a strange charm behind a mask of smoke, became utterly enthralled with the light dragon - going as far as to even follow him home to where he lived with his father in the sun. Or…. anywhere that he went, really. To appease the dragon, Greer allowed him to court him - but at the cost of much of himself. His mediocre talent in seeing the truth the Light flight strives for, he didn’t notice the red flags as bright as Terren’s rage. |
After a particularly violent and possessive episode, Greer became panicked and mournfully fled the Sunbeam Ruins to make a new home in the Gladekeeper’s glen as an herbalist. With his affinity for nature and his kind, caring personality he could’ve made quite the living there - and a happy one at that between herding hatchlings and tending to the wounds of his fellow flight after skirmishes with the Plague. Until, once again, Terren found him. Frightful of what might happen to his new home and after another confrontation with the fire dragon, Greer once again fled to the only place he knew for a fact Terren wouldn’t follow - the twisting trickery of the Tangled Wood. Almost certain he would wither in the sticky, slippery darkness of Shadow, Greer had nearly given up… until a strangely lively little hollow and a kind soul called his name. That day, Greer learned that home can be in even the most unexpected places. Maybe one day, he’d even feel safe again. And, miraculously, the day Makream - the dragon he had aided in the Shifting Expanse, the keeper of his thoughts throughout the hubris - showed up, he did. coding and graphics by LuminousNoble |
