A fluteful hunter is a hunter that executes their work with the help of musical enchantment, rendering the victim oblivious to their fate. The word Fluteful origins from the story of the rat-catcher's flute, a flute with deliberate notes to attract chosen prey. It was used to weed out sickness spread by rodents, and is now a mysterious tale told to hatchlings. How unrealistic it may seem, it showed how music can be manipulated in the use of hunting and enchantement. A hunter who's skills override other's may be called fluteful due to his or her unexplained abilities.

Ophaniel is the clan's best hunter, after Tendanor left her profession. Her appearance in the woods spike intrigue and curiousity, and the flowers growing in her mane makes her seem quite peaceful. She lulls her victim into drowsiness, and never carries her weapon visibly. Her little pouch is full of interesting flowers and calming aromas. She does not smell like danger, and masks her emotions well when out hunting. Hidden under all the flowers in her pouch, is a small, light pan-flute. Her exact technique is unknown, but the sound of the flute can be manipulated to sound like any bird or creature in the forest, and it can play both soothing and charming melodies. Luring the victim into the false sense of security, she strikes when they fall into slumber, and when they least expect it.
