Originating from a Serthis Clan that used them (among many others) as a test subject for their spells and potions, the life of a prisoner was all they'd ever known up until their integration into the Clan. Kiche was cursed with a menagerie of unusual, intricate magics, and while they gained the ability to see others' auras, they were also rendered mute and deaf. Over time they grew extremely sensitive to physical interaction, and while back then the Serthis used their weakness to manipulate them, now Kiche keeps their limbs wrapped in thick fabric. The coatl often uses body language or drawings to express themselves in conversation, finding it easy enough to "lip read" or sense vibrations in the air from the humming by others of their species to understand what's going on. However, they're very wary around most dragons in the clan and instead chooses to speak through their mate, Buck, who was one of their fellow escapees from the Serthis Clan they fled from. Despite their desire to be left alone, they enjoy practicing magic and medicine of their own, often donating remedies and spells to Clan healers.
