Biography
Plague Sub: WRAITH
Wraiths are (quite literally) a living nightmare, as they manifest when the Plaguebringer dreams. Thereafter, they are unleashed upon dragonkind, lingering primarily in the spiritual realm with a penchant for driving unsuspecting victims to their breaking points. If a dragon dies while in the clutches of a Wraith they will rise again as the very thing which killed them, condemned to serve the Mother of Disease. An exceptionally powerful Wraith can create a physical form. These often assimilate with foreign clans and invade their dreams, ever so subtly wearing down others' resolve until they lose it, or are taken possession of. In olden times their abilities were recognized but seemingly without cause, until their ethereal birth gave shape to their wickedness.
Ideal Genetics: Iridescent | Shimmer | Basic, Underbelly, Smoke, or Thylacine
*Basic, ripple, vipera, or giraffe are accepted primaries.
*Basic, stripes, peregrine, or hex are accepted secondaries.
*Note: Use giraffe and hex sparingly, they sometimes do not fit the intended look.
*Okapi is also an accepted tertiary.
*Any Eye Color accepted.
Ideal Primary Colors: Lead - Shale - Flint - Charcoal - Coal - Oilslick - Black - Obsidian - Eldrich
Flint not preferred with some genes due to bluish tint.
Ideal Secondary Colors: Hunter - Forest - Camo - Algae - Swamp
These colors are used to subtly offset the darkness.
Ideal Tertiary Colors: Lead to Eldrich - Jungle to Swamp
Dark or muted tones are to be used; stone, taupe, slate, and some lighter greys may work in some situations, but are not preferred.
This subspecies is typically most successful in shadow, ice, and wind environments, in addition to its homeland. Wraiths capable of physical embodiment may thrive anywhere. Their presence will elicit inexplicable sadness, paranoia, anxiety, depression, hysteria, hallucinations, schizophrenia, OCD, insomnia, and phobias.
