Little is concretely known of her origins, though most scholars can generally agree that she came from a lower class family of the City, and rose to power through her marriage to Ephron. In truth, her goal was always to someday rule. She was viscous, perpetually consumed with a fierce ambition, and a bit of a sociopath. Still, she was able to put on a likable facade, and wooed the kindhearted and joking Ephron. She always thought of him as being naïve and easily drawn in by her plot, when in truth he knew more than he caught on. He brought this up to Naadia once, which completely astounded her. After this, they grew closer, and Naadia grew more content. She even felt genuinely for Ephron in the end, and was happy just to be with him and not to be in power. When he died, it all came flooding back, and she is now the cruel and grief-stricken harbinger of the War. She's no longer the power-hungry child she once was, but is still every bit as cunning and malicious. All of the malcontent that Ephron had persuaded her out of came flooding back threefold when he died... Though she was now the ruler of coatl society.
