Tadahiro "Faithful Ocean" ~ Pride

B I O G R A P H Y Tadahiro is a pure Water spirit, born from the essence of the ocean itself. Washed ashore with nothing but his name, a headband of woven foam and a mission in a language he didn't understand, he soon found himself - as all travelers with a mission do - at a bustling Water clan. He watched for days as others came and left, resting their weary souls for awhile before continuing on their way. Curiously, he never felt need to proceed any further - at least, not until he had deciphered the mysterious runes swirling in his head. And so he sat and observed while all around him, same and new faces busied themselves with their own lives. At the one month mark, after weeks of being undisturbed by the clan, the leader finally approached him with a proposition. "I want you to ... consider joining our lair. To travelers, we appear to them at a crossroad in their journey. We shall offer them rest and entertainment, but never will we influence their decision." Resting her head on her arms, she gazed up at him. "We only offer the services they require - for a price, of course." With a brief laugh, she continued. "For you though, you will not advance any further until you come to understand your own mind - and the life task given to you. We can surely help, but it's a heavy pay." Nevermind how she knew all that about him, this little female with an easy-going smile had caught his attention. "What is it?" With a flick of her wrist, the crystal around her neck started glowing. "Your time. Half of your life is to be handed over." Calmly, she relaxed back in her seat. "You're free to deny of course, but there's not many in this realm who can lift such a powerful and delicate spell, and rarely anyone who would not demand more than what I've requested."

B I O G R A P H Y And so, dear traveler, if you ever find yourself in a city, so close to the waters that you sometimes feel as if it's actually submerged; if your tired feet ever drag you past the pretty houses arranged in a spiraling fashion; and if you happen across a small bar named Undertow; be sure to push those doors wide open and seek out the male in blue, with a curious headband tied in an intricate knot. Surely he will be there - buy him a drink and he'll tell you all the tales of guests just like you who've came, and gone. But never ask him how his story went - that's something he'd never share with another soul. And, dearest visitor, do not ever be alarmed if after you're on your way, your memories of the last few days suddenly become hazy, like the remnants of a long forgotten dream. It's only natural.

Notes: (AKA in summary)

- Bartender and owner of the pub, Undertow (he spends more time drinking there than anyone else though since he doesn't get drunk)
- Secretly hates the visitors that come through, thinks they're too noisy
- Likes being alone
- Rude and a huge grump
- Annoyed that this Water lair consists of mostly dragons that are terrible at manipulating water
- Avoids Sylvia - prefers not to be involved at any point with the main 7.
- Allows Xinlan to bunk upstairs the pub on the condition that he's not forced to sit through any of his stories
- Is very very irritated about the fact that Ahio is living in his pub
- Hates the "newcomer" Sebastian (especially the fact that he's younger than Sebastian)
- Especially aggravated that Sylvia keeps obviously shoving Sebastian (Wrath) and him together, coupled with obnoxious winks
- Typically has a headband on
- Incredible swordsman on the occasions where he actually fights
- Entirely baffled by the small packet of baby pixies left at his inn by Sylvia, growing concern and annoyance that these children seemed to have adopted him as their mother and is constantly trying to catch his attention
