Biography

She/her, Lesbian.

*Has a lot of respect for those with power and a free spirit. The issue is also finding someone who holds these traits, but is willing to compromise with her busy schedule. * Courting Yvonne and loving it, but I haven't gotten to writing it out yet.

Cirrus’s energy and spirit are impossible to deny. She is known for her go-getter attitude and is the premier courier of the clan. She routinely travels between it and allied trade partners in other clans, and rarely is seen in the same place at the same time. She is particularly charismatic and seems to be able to get ahold of rare and seasonal items due to her personality and connections alone. Few that know her would ever say they’ve seen her without an aura of confidence and spunk. She is also known for her athletic prowess. She not only has the strength stamina from years of courier duty, but the finesse of an incredibly skilled flyer. Cirrus is able to execute fancy, yet incredibly difficult maneuvers all without harming a single feather on her head or losing a piece of her cargo. Despite her muscular form, she can even be considered graceful. Much like her familiar, she also somewhat of a mischievous streak and a sense of humor many dragons can also relate to.

Her origins lie in a clan of nomadic Wildclaws and Coatls that wander Soreinth as a whole. While she was hatched in the Zephyr Steppes, the clan quickly moved into The Snowsqual Tundra. Due to the cold and their days of travel, Cirrus became accustomed to keeping a sturdy body since she was a hatchling. She was especially close with her mother, who she both resembles in appearance and mindset. Her mother is caught with with the strongest condition of Wanderlust Cirrus has seen in her entire lifetime. She never stopped speaking of the things she wished to see and the glorious places she had once traveled. Her mother met her father when the clan lived in the Windsinger's territory, and it was her spirit of adventure that charmed him to her and the life of a clan. Her father is a practiced Acolyte of the deity, and served and still serves as the clan's Wind ambassador in the clan. He is also an accomplished mage who taught Cirrus to utilize her own magic. While Cirrus wasn't gifted with magic as strong as her father's, she has always had a will to learn and harnessed the skills he taught her to make her flights more efficient and as a means of self defense.

As a young dragonet, she knew that she wanted to both make use of her physical prowess and help dragons in clans all across Soreinth. She only realized so when she made the acquaintance of her familiar, a Beastclan ambassador known for peddling and carrying goods across the Zephyr Steppes. She was fascinated not only that a Beastclan creature could do so, but by the idea itself. Her clan continued to use the services well into adulthood, and Cirrus herself made the decision to partner with Nimbus and build a service together. Over that time, her interest in the business had been well known to Nimbus, who grew to see her as a friend. He agreed willingly, and was happy to teach her the complexities of his business. The two kept up this business for years, staying within various clans, but never settling. Many were happy to accept their wares or buy the occasional goods they sold themselves, but were rarely willing enough to provide them with a permanent home or provide space without asking rent for it. That was, until Cirrus met Eldor and his travelling band of merchants. The gruff Ridgeback thanked her for years of quality service by asking she become an official clanmember. His clan was the wealthiest in the set of interconnected clans, and they would happily and easily keep her well-fed and well-housed. Cirrus happily accepted, knowing that it would bring her closer to both the merchants she was in contact with. further customers, and a massive clan that was sure to earn her more connections. It has only earned her more friends amongst the territories, as well as strengthened her bonds with her new clan. There is hardly a dragon out there who cannot appreciate her personality.

Cirrus has become notably very open minded due to her travel and is capable of getting along with many species and walks of dragons. With this in mind, she is one of few who will participate in Magnus's experiments. Magnus is one of the largest consumers within the clans of discarded machinery- both from dragonkind and beastkind, and often pays larger premiums to assure he has the best supplies. His orders keep Cirrus and Nimbus quite busy, a fact the two don't mind at all. Naturally, the two have sparked quite a bit of conversation with one another between these visits, and have naturally become friends. She and Magnus first met when the guardian laid eyes upon Cirrus and her familiar and longtime partner, Nimbus. He was fascinated by the feathers dusting her natural feathered wings, which she explained to have been a natural adaptation. The Ice clan she grew up in was largely comprised of Coatl and Wildclaw, and the frigid cold meant that growing an extra coat of feathers wasn’t uncommon either. (They were, however, twice as sensitive and more prone to shedding than her fathers’.) Magnus was also fascinated by the incredible perception and eyesight of Nimbus as a Clouddancer. The two naturally sparked conversation and quickly grew to become good friends. For her hatchday years after, Magnus bestowed her with the goggles. He said they were made to mimic the enhanced vision of Nimbus and other predatory avian creatures. Cirrus happily accepted the gift and makes use of them within her longer transmutes.

She is also willing to assist in his experiments on flight, flight enhancement, and avian studies. While even she has her limits, Magnus is so close with her that he could never in good conscience put her in harm’s way. Surprisingly, her touch of a mischievous spirit has begun to grow on him and brings him surprising joy, while Cirrus still delights in getting him playfully flustered.

Cirrus is usually just as successful in her romantic endeavors. Between her confidence and ability to understand and accept others, she has been in relationships with quite a few dragons in her time as a courier. Her most recent love, however, has been much less successful. Cirrus has found herself both deeply entrenched in Adalgarde’s business and entranced by her beauty. It was often Cirrus’s duty to sell Adalgarde’s silk and jewelry to other clans, and in the time they worked together she quickly fell in love with her. She began to even love Adalgarde's work. Cirrus had never been one much for flowers or petals, but began to appreciate the beauty when she understood how passionate Adalgarde was about her craft. However, the prideful and stubborn Adalgarde did not so quickly return her feelings.

The tough, yet ladylike silkworker and jeweler did not see a need for a partner just yet. She had managed very well on her own terms, and saw no need for a partner to assist her aside from what was required of her job. She always saw Cirrus's confidence and advances a bit too self-centered for her liking, and did not feel anything for her for a while. Perhaps it is her spirit or her humor, but she has slowly began to grow at ease with Cirrus. She is still too proud to admit it, but she sees Cirrus differently now that the courier seems to understand the passion and beauty of her craft. While it may be some time before either can decide to engage past a platonic relationship, Cirrus loves Adalgarde deeply and serves her with loyalty and respect.
