The one time Rose accompanies Iskyla on a scavenging trip and they stumble upon an egg. The first time they have ever found one, and of course, the little creature that hatched out of it was the first of his species ever to join Iskyla's nest.

Nowadays, Mobius is Rose's guinea pi-I mean lab assistant. She looks forward to giving him the fruits of her labor that she does not desire to keep for herself, whether it be familiars, genes, skins, or radiation. He doesn't mind of course, he has a fascination with the odd and strange.

Mobius' familiar is a tropical caiman named Havs. Him and Rose's rosetail caiman Vavi are siblings.
