P A S T
Jules does not have a single inkling of his past. He knows he came from somewhere in the Windsinger's domain, but where exactly is a mystery. He knows nothing of his parents, either (which doesn't bother him in the least, a disconcerting sight to most other dragons). He traveled to the Icewarden's lands as a hatchling (or so he thinks), and simply declared the cold region as his new home, to no one in particular. For a long while he was alone, with no one to talk to and nothing to do. After a significantly strange day where he had hallucinated after eating something not meant to be consumed, he announced himself to be a scientist, determined to explore the world and uncover the mysteries of life - although many of those "mysteries" were hallucinated. He chose a name for himself, then, as he had gone unnamed for months. Dr. Jules, a name that he was set on having people put in the history books. He grew in knowledge, defining his own methods and meaning of science as well as attracting the attention of many other dragons. They kept their distance from this so called scientist who stowed himself away into a cluttered little workshop at least once a day. Only one dragon approached him, Desera, and after a very long conversation about Jules' experiments, the coatl decided to try to find others that would talk to him as Slip had. |
P R E S E N T
Currently Jules acts as the head scientist of the (admittedly small) clan, although many are quick to deny any sort of scientific relations with him. Others will gladly associate with him under any other circumstances, just not science. They aren't afraid of him, per se - he is quite accepting and kind if you catch him in a rare, non-science moment - they just aren't a fan of his experiments. He's "collected" several "specimens" over the months, and he continues to try to add more dragons to his clan, if they can tolerate him. |
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Jules is very, very science oriented. He believes that everything is and can be explained by science. ("Magic?" the coatl says incredulously with a tilt of his feathered head. "Why, that's another form of science!") He refuses to associate himself with Baldwin. He loathes alchemy and considers such experiments to not be "true science." He knows an alarming amount of information, and can recite several DNA arrangements off the tip of his tongue. However, he is very flighty and will jump from one topic to the next (unless you get him to explain something. Then he just doesn't stop). He's only convinced one dragon to let him experiment a bit on them, Maze - no one talks about that. He has no particular romantic interest in any other dragon, unless they love science just as much as he. |

Exalting Jules to the service of the Icewarden will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
