Decay was once a prince of a kingdom. He was the oldest and was next in line to rule over the wonderful kingdom. He was being taught all the lessons he would need to rule as a great king by his father and over servers. He could not wait to rule his soon to be kingdom with someone special as his queen.

But that dream was taken away from him when his kingdom was brought to war with a rival kingdom. The rival kingdom was always trying to one up Decay's kingdom, but they never could, so they attacked out of rage and jealousy.

Decay couldn't fight in the war, he was too young, but he wished he could. His father and mother command the knights, and they fought. Everyone in the kingdom played part in the war by fighting, making weapons, or even making battle plans.

It looked like Decay's kingdom would when, everything was looking up, but then Decay was kidnapped. He was taken to an hideout, he was treated poorly. Barley got any food and was beaten until he could barely even walk so he couldn't escape.

But then an small army of Mirrors came. Decay was delighted, but then he watched as the Mirrors quickly and effortlessly took the lives of all the dragons that held him prisoner.

He thought he was safe since it was a while since the Mirrors attacked. But then one dragon found him, and he assumed his life was over. He was once a prince, but now he had no kingdom that he would rule.

Then a Mirror dragon with a head dress of a lion and a terrible rash on his back, came and helped him up. The army of Mirrors quickly broke up after that, and the strange Mirror put Decay on his back and ran to a place Decay didn't know of.

The two met up with another dragon, and the Mirror, who he learned was Onigame introduced them. Decay wasn't sure what was happening, but he knew for some reason, he felt safe. Safer than when he was at his kingdom surrounded by guards, and he loved it.

Onigame let Decay tag along with them, they weren't sure what they would do, but Decay had no problem with that, so he stayed.

He never told them that he was once a prince, he felt no need to, he became apart of the group the two made, and stayed.
