Frostbloom's parents had left her and their other kids when they were barely out of their eggs. They were travelers who didn't really want to settle down and deal with kids, especially not with eachother. So they left their kids behind without much care to what would happen to them. Auron had taken the lead, and had helped his sisters find food and shelter, and helped them keep going. So about a month later, the siblings raced each other to the mouth of a cave, speeding through the air like furry bullets.

Frostbloom and her siblings(Auron and Sapphire) hesitated by the opening of the cave. The massive dragon inside looked quite frightening, not the kind of creature you would want to provoke.

Auron stepped forward to talk for the small group, "Is it all right if we stayed here? There are no other caves for miles across, and we haven't slept for quite a long time," he explained, taking a defensive stance in front of his siblings. The large dragon agreed, and Frostbloom grinned, very releived that they could peacefully find a place to sleep. They walked towards the back of the cave, where Auron lay down, allowing Frostbloom and Sapphire to curl up next to him.

The next morning, once all of her siblings were awake, they went outside to gather some plants for breakfast. When they offered some to the large dragon(who had introduced himself as Kokoro) he declined,
"Imperials have a slightly different diet then tundras, and I'm afraid plants are all I've been eating for a while now," he told them with some happiness his voice, as he seemed to be glad to have enough strength to go fishing again.

No one could find a reason to keep traveling instead of simply staying in the cave, so they continued to live there, even as more dragons came to stay, and slowly, the cave began to have an even larger feeling of home.
