BELLATRIX

Bellatrix had been born in a neighboring water flight in which Sanctuary is currently allied with. Bellatrix had always felt as though he'd had so much to live up to in comparison with both of his parents. Bellatrix's own father was an extraordinary blacksmith while his mother was an archer. He felt as if neither of his parents ever really paid any attention to him. And when they did, it was his father telling him how he had done something wrong or lecturing him on how he could be a better dragon than the one he already was. He was never really accepted by anyone except for Fjord. One night, Bellatrix went into his father's workroom to ask him a question and accidentally knocked over something SaiFung was working on for the queen. SaiFung became furious and they had an arguement in which his mother got involved in. It ended in Bellatrix feeling unloved by his parents and leaving behind his home and the very leader he had the upmost respect for.

Whilst looking for a small shelter, Bellatrix was so focused on scanning the shores below that he didn't see the large flock of hippogriffs in front of him. He ended up running into them and they became furious, slicing everything on Bellatix's body. He crashlanded onto the beach below and blacked out.

He woke up in a strange place full of mysterious dragons. The first he noticed was the worry-looking skydancer in front of him. Her name was Cynosura, and she was the alpha female of this place called sanctuary. She would come to his den everyday and attend to his wounds and soon, the two became close friends. After awhile, Bellatrix fell for her, as she did him. The only thing keeping them apart was her mate Spark, a lightning dragon whom Cynosura had founded this place with.

Cynosura ended up leaving him for Bellatrix, including the only daughter she had. Bellatrix became the new alpha male of Sanctuary and became mates with Cynosura. Bellatrix then helped the clan that had taken him in in any way he could. He even went to the lengths of helping a nocturne in their clan have her first clutch of eggs, which Cynosura strongly disapproved of. The nocturnes name was Emeline, and after the 3 children were born, she became attached to Bellatrix and fell in love with him. Of course Bellatrix would never leave Cynosura, so he had to confront and reject her.


Whenever Cynosura leaves to go have tea or run an errand, Bellatrix never leaves her side. For he fears something might happen to her. And no matter what, he always supports her.
