Biography
Fain, the Quiet
Fain is a shy and quiet fae, being the sort of dragon whom prefers reading in a quiet corner in his lair to socializing with other dragons. If having to socialize, he has a tendency to stutter and will mostly let the other speak, instead of putting his own two cents in. Usually, he is more comfortable with other faes or smaller dragons than larger dragons. The larger a dragon, the more intimidating they will be for him. Of the few that he can talk with comfortably, is his best friend, a water sprite named Drop, and another friend - an imperial named Reef.
Besides reading- some things that Fain enjoys are dabbling in magic, and collecting artifacts and trinkets to hoard in his lair. In the uncommon occasion that you do see him outside, he will most likely be practicing his water magic, or looking around for a trinket with Drop. In said searches for trinkets, he may wander out into the wilderness of the Viridian Labyrinth, and on a rare occasion around the borders of the Dragonhome, Tangled Woods, and Sunbeam Ruins. Most likely though, nobody will ever see him traveling much further than that, though- unless the circumstances force him to do so.
Drop is just as quiet as Fain, if not more-so, although this isn't from shyness as much as just preferring to listen. If being talked to, she will as a result listen more than speak up unless something is really bugging her. She often is who Fain will confide in if something is bothering him, and she is the only one that knows most, if not all of Fain's secrets. To most, she may appear frail- and in the physical sense, she is. But, picking a fight with her will show that much like Fain, she knows some magic- and she isn't afraid to use it.
As for Reef, Fain sees him as a good friend to ask for advice in water magics - the imperial being surprisingly good at it. Awhile Fain is mostly self-taught and tends to experiment with his magic, Reef provides a decent bit of inspiration in spells to play around with and practice.
