She very much acts like the commander of an army and follows all unspoken laws of war. She has amassed a following through intelligence and trickery, and may keep a follower in her grasp through means of fear. After all, those who attempt to leave may face a sword more dangerous than that of the enemy. She does think of her battalion as tools, though does not like to let any of them die. That would tarnish her good reputation, in her opinion.

Hildegard is an excellent strategist and planner, thinking before she acts in most any situation. She is usually one step ahead of an enemy and is a master manipulator. However, if overconfident she may become clumsy.

She is a skilled fighter and has an aptitude for both air combat and magic. She is small and agile, easily avoiding most long-range attacks. She lacks physical strength, however she is a talented mage and close combat fighter. She isn't the most accurate in long distance firing.

When fighting, she often dulls her senses with her own magic and also increases dopamine levels within the brain. This will heighten her pain tolerance and make her seem almost happy when fighting. While she does not like killing, the high dopamine levels make her excited and active as blood may fall.

For some unknown reason, Hildegard has a disdain for all the dragon deities. She frowns upon those that look to them. She has the desire to kill all the dragon gods, but it is not known why.
