Fressune is an elderly mage. When he was a young hatchling, he and his half-sister, Keruza, were captured by the witch Mayonaka. Fortunately, they were rescued, and were then adopted by Ranimbe and Rydian. Once they reached adulthood, Fressune and Keruza would go on to found this clan, with Fressune as the Monarch, and Keruza as the Commander of the Clan Guard. Fressune would later adopt Navani and Ceremar, two orphaned Ridgebacks, in an effort to pay forward the kindness of his adoptive fathers.
Navani took to being the clan's "chief decorator," while Ceremar showed interest in the ways of wizardry and magic, which Fressune gladly trained her in. She has recently taken his place as the Monarch, though she still often comes to him for advice, which Fressune is more than happy to give.
