Biography
"Seven... seven cups are before you, how you wanted to commit yet could not. The Lovers smile wistfully, but you might bide your time too long but the Sword... yes, one alone is enough for your victory to come about. Only the first... of many."
Soft-spoken, mysterious and all around born from maybe the most gifted line of Coatls in the Starfall Isles, Raefyre rarely minces her words. In truth, she can't help it. Her talent for magic and the mystical world rarely lets her forked tongue spout the things in dire need of uttering for anything to be understood correctly, the cards that float around her helping channel the strongest signals. They speak and her mouth is just a box they use, if 'they' are even sentient enough to realize how spooky it is for a sentient being to be used a bit like a machine. A very magical and misunderstood machine.
In her moments of clarity though, Raefyre has a great deal of control over her actions and doesn't speak unless it's important. Usually giving her mate Gethin advice for the day or someone else in the clan who might be nervous about what might happen to them. Be it what lies in your future or just the day's lucky numbers, this mysterious Coatl might well have words from behind the veil of what's real and what's 'not' to offer. Whether what's said is what you want to hear is debatable. Hearing and accepting what you're told are two different problems, but one leads to the other and the latter is yours to deal with.
Many can argue that such 'skills' are all fake, a ruse used to purloin all kinds of treasure off an unsuspecting dragon or beast with too little self-esteem to trust their own conscious decisions. But we tried to disprove Raefyre's ability and... were left feeling very chilled when we left her shadow-filled lair that doesn't even have a crystal ball in it.
While we're not about to get into an argument right now, maybe you can help instead: what in blue blazes does 'my first is high, my second damp, my whole a tie, writer's cramp' mean?
Weird.
