Lovecraft is one of the dragons who came along during the era of Hakutai Clan where many other dragons of strange pasts came. At first glance, the original dragons thought he was just a traveler from the Firefox Bramble. He had the looks, the personality, and even the stench of shadowy goop. As he was welcomed, however, the name he told struck a familiar note in the historian's brain. Lovecraft, creepy tentacle-esque bramble, the stench of a poor dragon's ink, there was doubt about it that he was one of the many historical names that would reside here until the end of time.

Many dragons describe Lovecraft as a strange and reclusive fellow. And, well, they aren't wrong. He's usually isolated within the little cave he had been given and will very rarely come out to communicate with the clan. Lovecraft isn't too interested in many social settings or finding a job within the clan. If anything, his only job is to sit inside his home and his interaction of the day would be someone bringing him his food. If the dragon who brings his food that day is able to strike a conversation with him, he'll most likely talk about the latest writing he had written or a book he had read.

However, his personality comes with good explanation. This explanation is that he lives the classic author's life of shutting himself in to write a fantastic story many generations will enjoy. Some may criticize his works, yet he tries not to let that affect him as he knows that his fashion of horror is just not appealing to all. He also knows for a fact that a good few will praise him for his works in some way or another, even if it is generations away.
