Bendomiese is the first dragon who established this clan. Bendomiese understands that her name is long, so she sometimes goes by Brenda for short. She is loyal and faithful to her mate, Potalus, and has a strong bond with her familiar. She originally settled in Nature flight grounds, but then moved to serve the Flamecaller.
She enjoys collecting things, exploring, and spending time in the great unknown. Despite her unfortunate monotone dialect, she is full of bubbly personality. Brenda loves children and adores her adopted babies, Criollos, Maranel, and Eve. This is where her clan started... Early Life Excerpts New Beginnings The forest was quiet. The birds did not sing, and the wind did not play with the leaves. The small trickle of a spring could be heard nearby. A petite blue dragon lay passed out on its back, near the shore. Limbs sprawled out, soft green wings spread. Her emerald eyes suddenly shot open as she coughed and wheezed for air. She sat upright, quaking as she brought a talon to her abdomen. Her throat stung from coughing and her suddenly animated joints ached. Interestingly, there was not a bruise or scar that traced her thin frame. She didn't know where she was, and better yet, she had no memory of who she was. Where she had come from, or when her journey started. She was alive and thats all that mattered now. She gazed around for a moment. Eying the lush vegetation that surrounded her. She knew she couldn’t stay here. Whatever brought her here, whether it is dangerous or not, she knew it could still be close by. Picking herself up, she softly hummed monotone notes as she strolled along a dirt path to keep her mind off the pain in her body. It felt like eons of tree and path until she reached a strange clearing in the woods, surrounded by mushroom adorned trees. The grass was soft, and the light that shown down through the leaves was ambient. The sun was setting overhead, so she had decided to rest for the night. She scaled as high as she could up a tree. Her small demeanor was no match for the tree’s century long journey skyward. She stopped at a small hole in the trunk where she crawled inside. She spun in a quick circle, then curled up on the wooded floor. She looked outside with wide eyes. Fireflies danced and appeared in subtle green flickers then vanishing. Her eyes looked away. She had many questions she herself could not answer. So for the meanwhile, she closed her eyelids, veiling her emerald eyes. She immediately dozed off, fatigued. She slept deeply that night. A part of her senses were still attentive, to catch any potential danger outside. Soft wingbeats alerted her ears. She shot up, causing the shadowed being at the doorway flinch back. Instinctively, the blue dragon arched her back and growled, baring tiny needles teeth. Her slitted eyes hinted signs of fear. Could this newcomer be dangerous? The dark dragon got low to the ground and without a word slowly approached the blue dragon. As it drew closer, the blue dragon could see that this darker one was slightly smaller than her, and his eyes were large sparkling emeralds like hers. She growled and backed further to the wall the closer he got. She was backed into a corner with no more room to backup. The other dragon stretched out his long neck, and the blue one recoiled hers away. He sniffed her cheek lightly, then pulled away. “You’re like....me,” He spoke. She eased her fixture and stopped growling. She stared at his eyes, they too were afraid. "Who are you?" She finally spoke. "I don't know, who are you?" He ping ponged it back at her. "That makes two of us, then." She said, sitting upright. |
