Personality: Calm, works well under pressure, curious, observant, intelligent, clever, patient, and helpful. Ipala is slow to anger, and prefers to try negotiating over outright conflict - however, he will fight if he feels the need to. He is easily amused by innocuous things, and finds experimentation to be quite entertaining. However, Ipala does hold to a code of ethics, and if he needs a test subject, he will only accept volunteers.
Voice: Calm, cool, clear, often amused. Pitch is a medium to low tenor.

Apparel: He brewed up his lab coat himself. The necromantic darksteel, however, was a gift from an allied clan, and the plain and ornate darksteel were both bought from the Marketplace with money he made from his work. Ipala’s claws have also touched the edges of his brews a few too many times, and are now perpetually stained a purple that faintly glows in dark conditions.

Gijinka Appearance: Stands at just six feet tall, a slender man looking to be in his mid-twenties, and has true black skin with faint stripe-like patterns over his shoulders, back, and the backs of his arms and the sides of his thighs. His hair is a shiny, artificial-looking bluish-purple, and his eyes are a deep, vibrant purple. His neck, throat, chest, and abdomen are all a much paler grey colour. This is all representative of his various genes.

In this form, he puts away all jewelry except the ornate darksteel necklace, which appears as a choker around his neck. In addition, he typically wears a deep red shirt under his lab coat, along with brown track pants and black sneakers. His finger- and toenails look like they have purple nail polish, and indeed do still glow when it gets dark enough.
