Erreth was born in one of the clutches Yevaud and Reach had together after they had changed breed. He is the youngest of his siblings who have remained in the Wandering Snows Clan, and is not as close with either of them as they are with each other. He knows the time span between him and his sisters are large, and so he doesn't bother them too much with anything. He instead looked up to the Spiral, Antilles, for much of his young life. Erreth admired the Spiral's sense of adventure and zest for danger and excitement. The older Spiral would sometimes take Erreth out on scouting trips, sometimes to the disdain of Reach, and the two would sneak off together into various hijinks and silly situations. As Erreth matured, he even emulated how Antilles handled mates (at first) for somet time. Erreth had many flings, sometimes longer sometimes shorter in duration, but never found one to remain with. When Antilles did settle together with Lucia, Antilles and Erreth did start to spend a little less time together as well. Erreth understood that time would change relationships between he and others, but he still became slightly sad at realizing how much things had indeed changed. As such, Erreth started to rely on himself and his own thoughts more than he did in the past. He worked harder to learn how to fly in blizzard situations, and worked with taming his Hippogriff companion who aids him in many of the scouting trips he is currently sent on. He is third-in-command of the "Spiral Squad", in conjunction with his mother and Antilles. They keep an eye out for any potential incoming dangers to the clan. (And sometimes also spend their own time adventuring when out and about.) It seems certainly that some of the Ice Flight's coldness and determination has crept into Erreth's energy as he's grown to adulthood. He is known to many still as a silly and amusing individual, who has something of a good-natured charm about him. Erreth has indeed taken after his mother more than his father! |
