Veser came to the clan in its early days with Mori. They came together from Plague, though they were not from the same clan originally. Neither has ever explained how they found each other or how they found their way to the Steppes of Wind country, or why they left in the first place. The others generally don't push too hard. Neither has ever hurt anyone in the clan, and they seem to get uncomfortable when it's brought up. Veser is more outspoken and outgoing in comparison to the stoic and withdrawn Mori, and he tends to talk in sharp bursts of mixed languages, using his mother tongue and the language of his new clan interchangeably depending on what word fits best. It can be very confusing and difficult to understand, and it only gets worse when he's excited. Mori can usually help translate, in halting slow words, but Veser is adept at using body language to get his points across when Mori's not there to help. His daughter Tchai and himself are somewhat distant, but certainly amiable. Veser doesn't have the same way with hatchlings that Mori does, but he tolerates them well enough when the young ones want to play.
