Calculating, misleading, cruel

Dimm is reasonable, friendly, and charming on the surface. He loves to make trades and contracts with others, and is very selective about who he bargains with. Information is his most cherished possession, and the one he usually uses as his trump card.

The Empyreal are all warned to avoid his deals, as tempting as they may be. Any dragon that takes him up on it is at his mercy. Dimm is actually a powerful sorcerer that uses his shadowy magic to get what he wants. If a dragon is not very careful about the terms of their contract, he revels in exploiting any loopholes to his advantage. Those that back out of their part of the deal are forcefully compelled to return to him with his dark magic.

Like most Shadow dragons, he adores games and riddles. Beating him at a puzzle is one of the few ways to impress him. In fact, that is why Dimm works with the Empyreal clan. He volunteered his intelligence-gathering skills if the clan matriarch could answer his riddles, and she took him up on the challenge. It's a good thing that she beat him that day. Back then, no one understood just how much the Empyreal stood to lose.
