A very sensitive Coatl. His parents were supportive of him, never complaining about their son's odd fascination with relationships and soul mates. They did, however, blame this fascination for why he left so soon after he hatched. His sensitive, caring nature meshes well with that of his mate, Yarrow. Limonium is one of the many who joke about the phrase 'opposites attract' being thought up specifically for them, as it was fairly true. He was patient where Yarrow was impatient, gentle where she was blunt, but they worked well together because of that. They also share a gift, the ability to sense soul mates, and together they have arranged for several dragons to find their other half (or halves, as the case may be). He enjoys getting letters from dragons all over Sornieth, and takes the time to answer each one. Some require their personal touch, which means that Limonium and Yarrow are very well traveled by this point and have friends in every flight. He is the best with words out of the pair, but Yarrow is the better writer, and so anyone who gets a letter from them will be seeing Yarrow's writing but will read Limonium's words. Limonium tempers Yarrow's blunt impatience with his gentle nature, and both joke that the first match they ever arranged was their own. Said meeting is one that Limonium will never forget, and the story is one that he enjoys telling to anyone who asks (and quite a few who don't ask). Limonium and Yarrow had both been restless, and thus they had both set off from their respective clans. There was a pulling sensation in their chests, dragging them both toward the same point. Neither had met the other until that moment, but looking at each other from opposite sides of a clearing, they felt as though they had known each other for their whole lives. Later, they would laugh over how they acted, all but falling over themselves to meet in the middle. Later, they would come up with a way to make their first meeting, their first 'match' arranged due to their gifts, sound much more dignified. There were quite a lot of things that they would do later, not the least of which was finding a new clan to call home for them both and opening their own matchmaking service, but for now they settled down to get to know each other. At some point during the, fairly lengthy, conversation, Limonium started humming along to the song that the birds nearby were singing. Yarrow was the one to suggest that they start dancing, despite the fact that the Coatl's humming sounded extremely odd to the Wildclaw. It was an odd pairing, given how much taller Yarrow was than Limonium, but the Wildclaw just held her smaller partner close and Limonium enjoyed the opportunity to cuddle up against his larger mate. | xxxx |
