Moondance's Theme: Shadows by Sabrina Carpenter

______ Moondance is the fierce leader of Darkmoon, born in the shadows of the Tangled Wood and left on her own. She grew up thieving from other lairs to survive, until she met Dragonfly.

______ The two became fast friends, and Moondance began to realize she wanted a place to call her own. With Dragonfly’s help, she laid claim to a small cave, and began gathering things to make it feel more homey. She then met Twig, a roaming guardian dragon, and the two fell in love. They had some hatchlings, all of whom left when they were old enough to seek out their own life. Twig didn’t stick around forever, instead choosing to go and serve the Shadowbinder. But Moondance’s family continued to grow, and soon she realized she was becoming less of a trickster, and more of a leader.
Dragons came and went, some even choosing to stay. Hatchlings were born, some staying, some leaving to find new homes, but all of them would always regard Moondance as a motherly figure.
Moondance is now the leader of a thriving clan, with several caves and plenty of possessions. She still protects the ones she loves, unable to forget how she had once been left behind. Everyone who she takes under her wing is cared for and listened to, while anyone who wrongs one of her family can expect fangs and claws from this protective mama dragon,
