Quetzal came along with Itzel when the Spiral arrived searching for Tadzea. Little is known about how the two became family, but both are now welcome members of the Jingong Clan.

As she grew Quetzal became keenly interested in Xaroc's experiments. Now fully grown and more knowledgeable about Xaroc and his work; Quetzal has become his lab assistant. Both possess a single minded focus on science and discovery.

Based on the smoke and explosions that have now gone prismatic since Quetzal'z joining; it is safe to say that no one knows what knew discoveries they will bring to the world.
