The twin of Dreadwing, Skyquake is considered to be more reckless and foul-tempered than his calculating brother. Unlike his brother, he is highly impulsive, prideful, and impatient, and can be described as all brawn and no brains, preferring to punch first and ask questions later. He rarely thinks things through and approaches battles as mere tests of strength and will - something he certainly doesn’t lack - rather than a combination of strength and tactical ability. Due to his size and his battle experience, this strategy has actually proven extremely successful. Within the clan, he holds the position of warrior.

On his first visit, arriving, Skyquake remained largely isolated. The other dragons were strange to him, and he maintained that he doesn't need their approval. He hunted and fought all day, and locked himself up alone every night, growling at anyone who came nearby. The one dragon he could stand was Ambrosia, who he came to respect for her shrewd intuition, not that he let anyone know that for a long time.
