Xala is considered to be crazy, paranoid, and just plain strange by her clanmates. She spends all of her time chasing down random rumors and conspiracy theories across the realm. The only reason that Xala “lives” in this clan is because it's located close to the Shrieking Wilds, the mystery of the Tangled Wood, and the helpful libraries of the Sunbeam Ruins.

Xala keeps large maps in her lair, lengths of string connecting various leads and sightings. Because of her obsession with the unnatural, Xala is not able to communicate with other dragons very well. She often stutters or cuts off a sentence in the middle, leaving the listening dragon confused.

At the moment, Xala is searching for the fabled Boolean. The Boolean is a rare familiar, said to have been around since the beginning of time. Sightings of it in the nearby Sunbeam Ruins is what attracted Xala to stay in her birthplace of the Gladeveins.
