Biography
Leaving this here so I can remember forever o_o
River was raised in the Snowsquall Tundra near the forests that line the mountain ridges. Her clan was nomadic, often trading for the supplies they needed to get by, finding new clans to due business with each new place they made camp. River felt this was fair practice. Soon though, her opinion would change.
The economic downfall hit everyone hard. Times were tough, provisions in the hoard were scarce. Little ones were going hungry. The clan leaders didn't know what there was left to do. That's when they realized there was only one thing left to trade; and so for the good of the clan they began trading other clan members in return for food and supplies to more wealthy factions outside the Icefield, reasoning that not only was this for the good of the clan, but also for the hatchlings they were trading.
When the time came that they traded River in exchange for mere morsels to a Wind clan, she felt spurned. She only hoped that her clan leaders were right, that now her future would be brighter, and perhaps, she hoped, filled with more love.
She has since proved to be of great value to her new family in the Wind clan. Whenever River goes on a foraging missions, her expert skills and knowledge are an essetial tool. River has learned the value of even the smallest item, and thus nothing goes to waste. She has in fact found love with a Wind native, who is now her mate.
This doesn't stop this Pearlcatcher from wistfully reflecting on her childhood growing up on the Icefield, playing in the snowy tundra with the others, and recanting stories by the fire at night. She has decided to grow from her past, rather than allow it to stunt her, and proudly wears the traditional garb of the Snowfall Tundra.
First Place in Vampire's accent contest
"This may sound a little biased but I assure you guys that even after looking at the other accents and setting this entry aside, I was still captivated by the choice of apparel items and how well they came together with, not on the accent, but also the dragon's natural colors. Since the first time I laid eyes on this dragon (shortly after the release of this accent) I absolutely adored River's customization. I can say that without a doubt she is the most flawlessly decorated dragon in this contest; but that's just my opinion."
