Pretty demon boy.
Listens to no one, not even himself
He really isn't ok. He sees the world a little warped. Sometimes you can tell when he isn't wholly there when having a conversation.
Is rather adept at magic and is by no means a master but anyone with magic training watching him would say otherwise. He does like the company of Orion probably because the old fellow likes that Layex listens and provides feedback when he shares what he found with him. Layex in turn absorbs any sort of teaching the old guardian offers and helps with something that's usually concerning.
Outside of magic he took a liking to Manara and her attitude for demanding respect and giving none who don't deserve it. He gives strange flowering gifts and provides magical needs for her bar. She loves being pampered by him, so all is well between them.
Definitely unethical and the King is keeping a close eye on him. Disconcertingly interested in the nightmares that are emperors.
Manara may be adorned by glittering pink flowers but never accept flowers offered from Layex. By any means do not touch his flowers. Do not smell them. And be especially wary of the thorns.
He has taken a liking to Cecil.
