Volcano given dragon form, absolutely fascinated by existence.
Before an unfortunate run-in with the Flamecaller, Tracyn was but a volcano in a range of other volcanoes. Now, through an accidental outburst of her deity magic, they have been given the form of a dragon. Everything about their new existence thrills them, and they consistently seek out new experiences. A passionate creature, Tracyn is prone to extreme temperature spikes. Things like 'legs' and 'food' and 'birds' are entirely new to Tracyn, and the joy of discovering a new facet of the world would often, before they acquired heat protection, cause them to inadvertently burn the things around them. Tracyn has made it their mission to see as much of the world as they can, and in their travels has met many new friends and had all kinds of adventures. A trusting soul, their cheerful and friendly demeanor has gotten them out of more scrapes that Tracyn has any inkling of. The bandits Tracyn met on the road aren't quite sure how Tracyn wound up invited to share their fire, either, but by the end of the night not a single one of them could imagine harming him. - - - Tracyn and their wife wander through many lands, but they always find themselves, sooner or later, back in the land in which they were born - the scorching lands of the Ashfall Waste. To others the country is scarred and inhospitable, but to Tracyn and Nadala it is life-giving, rejuvenating, and beautiful. It is here that they return to when the lava that makes up their bodies begins to harden, and it is here that the pair bear their children. The Ashfall Waste is not quite home, for all the world is their home, but it is nonetheless beloved. It was during one of these pilgrimages to the land of fire that Tracyn met Aloin, a moody but skilled guardian. Having just found her charge and come into her own as a fire mage, Aloin took one look at Tracyn and Nadala and saw that they had a problem that she could solve. Over the campfire that night, Aloin worked a complicated spell over two strangely smooth pebbles of obsidian that Tracyn and Nadala formed from their own bodies. "Carry this on you," she told them, "and you will never need to worry about burning things that you do not want to." The next morning, she had gone before the sun had risen. [ VOLCANOES ] Born of rock and fire, the Volcanoes are so hot that no dragon outside the Fire or Earth Flight is able to approach them. They tend to keep to themselves to avoid trouble. They are quite calm and collected most of the time, rarely losing their temper or falling into a panic. But that doesn't mean they should be messed with.
