Biography
Tallulah
- The Cursed Guardian
"Don't judge a book by its cover."
- The Cursed Guardian
"Don't judge a book by its cover."
Story: A Guardian, who found a cursed talisman on his Search. When he touched it, a bright light enveloped him and he fell unconsicous. When he woke, he noticed that everything around him seemed so much bigger than before... he felt light, and fast, and... weird. Upon closer investigation, he found out that he, in fact, had been turned into a Spiral. The changes to his body confused him, but he wanted to carry on his Search nontheless. While practicing his flying skills - a hard thing to do, when you suddenly have a long, thin body with 3 pairs of wings - he quite literally crashed into the Fae girl Rusty. She managed to catch herself before crashing, but Tallulah hit the ground full-force. Rusty took the injured Spiral back to her parents' clan. After recovering from his injuries, Tallulah realized that he had found the end of his search - the Luminaries. He wanted to join this clan, and protect the members, even though he now was physically changed. Fanfiction: Initiation "You're oddly calm for a spiral." I shifted uncomfortably. I wanted to shout "I'm not a spiral!" but the truth was, right now I was stuck in a spiral body. My tail twitched, making the cursed jewels clink. "I guess so" I replied instead, looking at the mirror lady in front of me. On her back was a fae male, wearing colorful sage clothes. He hadn't said anything so far. To their left was a skydancer, his posture collected and his gaze keeping track of everyone who was bustling through the cave. The brown fur covering his body was scarred and he was wearing an armor. Moreover, he was a plague dragon, which made me uncomfortable. I didn't exactly trust the dragons from those wastelands. They tended to be unpredictable. "So you say you're a traveler who wants to find a new home..." the mirror said, more speaking to herself than to me. I nodded. Suddenly, the fae on her back fluttered his wings and leaned upwards, whispering something in the leader's ear. She frowned, then motioned to someone on her right. A sparkling blue skydancer walked up to the small podium and gave the leader a respectful nod. "Tallulah, this is one of our seers. He will see whether you're being honest with us. If you're a threat to our clan, he will notice and we will punish you accordingly. Will you allow him to see into your soul? This is the only time I will offer you this chance." I swallowed. This seer made my skin crawl. But this place was where my search had led me to and I felt like it was the right thing to do. I nodded. "Well then... Galaxian, if you may" the fae spoke up. I immediately understood why the mirror had been talking to me all this time. His voice was gentle and had a kindness in it that made it totally unfitting for talking to a stranger who potentially wanted to join their clan. This was a serious matter that required authority, not kindness. The seer stepped forwards and I closed my eyes. - END |
