Death to four thousand.

Tarsus has seen something. He won't tell anyone what it was, but it changed him. Sometimes he mutters on about "halves" of things, but no one is sure what that means.

This Nocturne likes to take long walks by the Wyrmwound and talk to himself. He has been known to meet with eight other dragons - they call themselves the Nine Witnesses - but, once again, no one is sure why.

Tarsus came to the clan as an exceptionally skilled killer. However, he doesn't like to fight and believes quite strongly that life is to be protected. He almost never trains other dragons and the only clanmate he'll consider fighting beside is Fossa.

Tarsus and Fossa have a complicated relationship. On one hand, Tarsus seems to be intimately aquainted with rot and decay and seems to find solace in Fossa's unwavering acceptance of it as a fact of life. At the same time, he abhors her general disregard for life and oftentimes fights with her about it. Most clanmates steer clear of the two when they're fighting - those in the vicinity usually end up getting caught in the crossfire.

Tarsus has a strange fascination with fungus. He has a sentient mushroom as a familiar and friend and has a colony of - well, something growing on his shoulders. He won't let anyone touch it even though it's begun to grow beneath the skin. It probably can't ever be removed at this point.

Tarsus hates dragons who believe their bloodline is superior. He believes it is only fair if they die beneath his claws.

Tarsus is a fandragon.

Tarsus is a Reter in Fossa's Phalanx. He's a very skilled fighter but dislikes violence. However, if there is a situation where those he cares about are threatened, he will leap into the fray with an astonishing amount of violence.

The only other time Tarsus will react with such ferocity involves challenges to his moral code. If he believes the ethical rights of anyone is being threatened, Tarsus will take it upon himself to protect or defend them.

Sunder doesn't talk to Tarsus much but views him as another child to be protected. He allows Tarsus his selection of fights happily and hopes Tarsus one day opens up about whatever happened to him.

Tarsus and Fossa are close and very compatible on the battlefield. Sometimes Fossa will get angry he won't fight by her side, but when they do work together, they're nearly unstoppable.

Keval doesn't quite understand Tarsus, but he respects his ethics, skill, and silence. He works around Tarsus' odd battletime code and oftentimes picks up the slack when Tarsus sits out of a fight. Srilan won't talk to Tarsus because she views his occasional refusal to fight as a betrayal to the Phalanx.

Exalting Tarsus to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
