History
At first, Nightshade was opposed to working with the native horse herd. Convinced they would betray the clan, Nightshade ultimately tried to sabotage DarkGem’s attempts at peace. These actions failed, and over time she slowly began to trust the horses.

Nightshade inherited her brash and unruly nature from her father, Suncoil. Before he left to serve the Gladekeeper, he taught her all he knew of fighting. Soon her skills surpassed his, and he passed down wing bangles, a family symbol of strength. Suncoil’s departure really hurt Nightshade, further shaping her rude attitude.
