Biography
Little woodland princess 💕
she adores her garbage-collecting mirror friend, moore, and treasures the, er, "treasures" that she's given - like a pair of fans, found who-knows where. well. her friend knows where, but she's not telling.
that's okay, though. adelaide knows everyone has their secrets. she spends her time coaxing plants to grow, to stretch upward despite the gloom of the woods the lair is in. her shared den is a greenhouse, with enough bioluminescent fungi (thanks to her qiriq!) to support whatever she wants to grow - almost like a tiny sun in her own space.
and to these plants, she tells her secrets, whispering them against a bud, a stalk, where the roots breach the earth like whales moving in geological time. it's a good thing her scales are soil-coloured, or else there'd always be dirt visible on ade's face and hands from how much time she spends working away.
should you want to visit her, be resigned to weaving your way through an artificial jungle. with a pinch of luck, you should be able to find her tucked away, perhaps by some flowers. and if you need to talk, she'll listen. she won't even sit up from her work. a visitor can choose to press low, under some arcing ferns, or stay admist tall, colourful blooms. hidden, you tell adelaide your secrets, big or small, and she whispers your confessions into the dirt. they feed the plants, and you can rest, now knowing you've been heard.
it starts out small.
And then it grows, and grows. Unlike a garden starving for drop of water, he was met with all the rain needed to make that garden grow. Bountiful, never ceasing, he was given possibly too much, and the garden was soon left unattended. It grew, far beyond its boundaries, up to the point that Hanzo was certain it would grow past his ribcage, twine vines around his ribs and crawl out of his chest. - keep you on my side
