Biography
Quote:
Afuha was born into a poor family in Divinos. Their mother, Tomfen, moved on to a new partner when they were newly hatched, leaving Afuha and their three clutchmates, Aisia, Azera, and Aluma, with their broken father. In order to pursue Tomfen, Afuha's father, Lexios, dragged their family across the Starfall Isles for months. Afuha grew up learning about different dragons and cultures, and they quickly learned their father was a horrible character. Whenever they made a friend along their journeys, their father would drag them away, often violently. When they made their way across the Rotrock Rim, Lexios saw a chance to catch Tomfen and ditched his family for Eluxus.
All alone except for each other, Afuha and their siblings formed a pack and stalked the Rim for food. One day they were ambushed by a group of scavengers and their supplies were raided. They joined the group of bandits to escape death and terrorized the lone dragons of the Rim. Afuha and their siblings were low ranking and were forced to participate in the cruelty, although they were kind and good inside. Yet as time moved on, each and every one of Afuha's siblings ranked up, became dark-hearted, but Afuha would always be the young weakling with the pure heart.
One night, Afuha woke to the sound of screams. Crawling from their den in the sand, they found the raiders had captured another dragon. They craned their neck above their siblings to see, but they were blocked.
"Well, look who decided to come back," sneered Aisia, the eldest of Afuha's siblings. "If it isn't the coward were deserted us." She turned to face Afuha, and they saw behind her, their father, Lexios.
"Father!" they cried, seeing the poor dragon, bloodied and broken, bound in shackles like a war prisoner who'd fought a great battle, only to lose in the worst way. Afuha ran to him, and watched his father's head look up to see them, his youngest child. But

Poor Afuha had a terrible upbringing. Shortly after he hatched his mother moved on to a different lover and Afuha was left with his father and his three siblings. His father couldn't handle them and he abandoned his children soon after, following his deity, the Stormcatcher. It was from then on that Afuha learned to hate the Stormcatcher and all Lightning dragons. It was clear Afuha was a spiteful dragon, even from a young age.
His siblings took this trait and justified their iminent leaving of him. Afuha, the third to hatch, seemed to be the cursed child, but he couldn't care, he would get revenge upon his siblings later.
The poor hatchling wandered the Land of Arcane before entering the desolate Land of Plague. It was here where he met a group of dragons who took him in. Afuha was taught to hate and fight, and he became a monster of a dragon. The Abiding Boneyard became his home, and no matter how harsh it was, Afuha loved his home more than anything.
Then one day, one of the members of his guild brought home a scarred and bloodied dragon. Even beyond his wounds, Afuha could tell it was his father. His guild members let him take his father as his prisoner, and they expected Afuha to torture and then kill him. However, Afuha released him, telling his father to never return to this place, and to never tell of what he had done. His guildmates turned on him however, and cast Afuha out of the group, then killed his father.
Afuha, now a bitter, resentful dragon, yet again wandered the land, but this time he wasn't looking for sympathy. He lost himself within the tangles on his mind, and soon he collapsed inside himself. He was a damaged corpse, a husk of a dragon.
By the Lightweaver's grace, he was saved by a dragon who took pity on him, but this time for real. He was sheltered and cared for, and his sorrows were healed. They didn't disappear completely and he was left with haunting scars across his face. He covered them with a equally haunting mask and wore a different face. He became a different dragon, a passive fighter and a lonely duelist.
