Biography
As a child, she was a mage under the watchful eye of her father. He taught her what she knew of magic, and she had been seeming to be doing very well with it. However, one day, she disappeared, never to be seen again. She has no recollection of the time she spent with her family at this point, and she has no interest in remembering.
Now the sole draconic inhabitant of an old, abandoned laboratory within the Starwood Strand, Sovari spends her time meditating deep within the building's depths. She only ever leaves in order to feed herself-- but otherwise, she stays within the lab, letting its whispers surround her.
You furrowed your brows as you stepped into the ruined laboratory, claws clicking against the rotting wood floor with each step. The building was completely silent.
You steeled yourself as you examined your surroundings before moving further in.
You lost track of the time as you wandered, looking over old research papers and the belongings of whoever used to work there.
It's dark out now.
Whispers began to echo throughout the building, sounding far away and yet almost as if they were right in your ears. Voices of all kinds spoke in hushed tones, their words in a language you felt you should understand, but no matter how much you focused, you couldn't quite grasp what was being said.
You began to see a lone figure moving in the shadows around you, but you could never quite catch it. You felt sick.
Despite your fear, you moved further into the ruins, hoping to find an answer to the rumors of the lone denizen living there.
The whispers grew louder, the shadows drew closer.
You fell to your knees, beginning to cough and hack violently as you struggled for breath. A dark, viscous fluid dripped from your lips, onto your hands, and to the ground.
You saw a tall figure, surrounded by dark candles. It reached out to you as another figure rose up behind it-- thin, and completely enveloped in shadow, save for its many eyes, which were all focused on you.
And then everything went black.
