Biography
Born underneath the water sign, Gilly was always more inclined toward the forest. It was her hiding spot, her place of comfort, a place she went whenever she felt down or when he needed to gather her thoughts. In times of trouble the canopy of the forest would always offer consolation. So she swore to be a protector for the woods and everyone living inside them. She hoped the could preserve the place she loved so dearly, so others could come and rest-- just as she did-- for years to come. As she spent more and more time underneath the treetops her once dark complexion became warm and woody. A sign of her dedication, she thought.
Rendered partially mute from accidentally sampling an acidic hanging moss, Gilly believes she better understands the plants and fungus now that she too relies mostly on nonverbal communication. She spends her days using her water magic to cultivate mushrooms and other curious plants-- extending her small, lush sanctuary as far as she can encourage it to stretch. She does not sell her "crops" as they possess tricky magical properties and, if consumed carelessly, could lead to disastrous results.
Gilly does not, however, object to using them against those who would dare maliciously encroach on or destroy her sanctuary...
