Chera is the matriarch of the Lair.

She isn't one with a big voice, but when she speaks, the rest of the dragons in the lair shut up and listen out of respect for her.

At first the lair wasn't bigger than a nest and a little, cozy patch of grass in the middle of the forest, but she slowly made it home, especially after meeting with Batrya, who was travelling from lands unknown and was in need of a place to call his own.

She welcomed him in her small lair, and the two became quickly friends, then mates, and while they grew closer, their lair expanded slowly. She hadn't intended for her lair to grow, but she is a caring dragon, and it was in her nature to welcome others who were in need of a safe place to stay.

Chera welcomed a lot of dragons over the years, some who left and some who remained, and was always there for them, listening to their woes and offering a kind advice and a nice muzzle nuzzle to them all, and it was her kindness that allowed her to be so respected.
