Once a lonely Nocturne, Shaderush still is, preferring to seclude herself from every other dragons' eyes, even though she finds herself in the House of Awakening with Nepenthes. Though initially raised by Solaria and Kasia, she always felt... restless around them. Something just didn't sit right with her being with them. Perhaps it was her Shadow origins, though that couldn't be the case, right? Mei and Kasia trusted each other so much. That isn't the answer. She hasn't found it yet, though she feels as if something became lost to her. Something dear to her.

During her time with Nepenthes, she has actually been a bit more open to talking, and she holds a bit of fear in her heart, and eyes. She really didn't have any sort of parents, none that she could call her own. She found it hard to trust others, or to even speak to others. Something about Nepenthes opened her up a bit more, made her find that little spark that keeps her going and about. A little light, that she has to hold on to. So she stayed, decided not to leave. No other dragon should have to endure what she once dealt with. Her heart may still be shrouded, but she wishes no ill will. Not anymore.
